My husband and I are RPCV of Guinea/Zambia. We are traveling in Peru this June. I would love to volunteer at a local hospital for 3weeks or so. I am a nurse practitioner and would love to learn about Peru's health system. Do you think this will be easy? I don't really care where in Peru. Will you please share this to other Health PCVs? My name is Sheila and I got your info and blog from Becca Allgire who went to high school with my roommates. I just found out a couple weeks ago that I will be coming to Peru in September with the Peace Corps, also doing health promotion. I'm sure you're really busy but if you ever had some time I was wondering if you could just let me know what kinds of stuff you've been doing so far and how it's been for you.
